How Often You Should Check The Boiler Water Level

Failing to inspect the boiler water level on a daily basis is one of the most common causes that may lead to boiler repairs. This is a critical maintenance operation. Not having enough water in your boiler will lead to a malfunctioning pressure vessel. The steel in its composition is very likely to overheat if there is not enough water. Sooner or later, it will “smoke”. In most cases, it cannot be repaired, but replaced. In more severe cases, a low boiler water level may also lead to personal injuries or building damage. Therefore, take a look at the level everyday.
